Speakers' and Poster Instructions

Speakers' Instructions:

  • Contributed presentations are 15 minutes including discussion

  • Invited presentations are 30 minutes including discussion
  • Tutorial presentations are 60 minutes including discussion
  • Keynote presentations are 45 minutes including discussion
  • Plenary presentations are 45 minutes including discussion


AV Provided for your Presentation

To ensure that the programme runs smoothly, all speakers are requested to upload their presentations prior the conference begins. Each presenting author received an email from M-events Cross Media GmbH (phone: +49 89 189659322, containing all detailed information including upload-link, log-in data, upload guide, etc. on Monday 29th April 2013. In case you did not receive this email, please contact to request it (please indicate the full details of your presentation).

Presentations should be uploaded in advance so that the format can be checked by M-events; if this should not be possible, the presentations can be uploaded on-site in the Speakers' check-in located in Hall B0 (ground level next to the ICM). Every Speaker should, however, be informed that if she/he does not upload her/his presentation in advance there is no guarantee that the presentation can be checked concerning the technical compatibilty.

Other format than MS-PowerPoint will be converted. Own laptops cannot be used. Videos are supported. Please note that all files will be destroyed after the conference.

The Speaker Check-In is located in the hall B0, ground floor of the International Congress Center Munich (ICM) and will be open during the following hours, with technicians available to assist you:

Please note: Even though there are more than 20 uploading stations available at the Speaker Check-In, there might be waiting periods at peak times.

The meeting rooms contain the following:

  • LCD projector
  • Podium microphone and/or wireless lavalieres
  • Projection pointer

Laser pointers are not be supplied. Internet access will not be available during the presentation.

Poster Instructions:

Posters are a major attraction and provide an intimate interaction between the presenter and the viewer. To allow participants to see as many posters as possible, all CLEO®/Europe-IQEC 2013 posters will be displayed in the Hall B0 (ground floor) next to the ICM centre. The conference will feature 5 poster sessions taking place from Sunday to Thursday after lunch time.

Poster time schedules:

  • Sunday: 13:30 - 14:30 (topics CA, CC, CL, CM and IF)
  • Monday: 13:30 - 14:30 (topics CB, CK, IB, ID and JSIV)
  • Tuesday: 13:00 - 14:00 (topics CD, CE, CI, IC and JSV)
  • Wednesday: 13:00 - 14:00 (topics CF/IE, CJ, II, JSII and JSIII)
  • Thursday: 13:00 - 14:00 (topics CG, CH, IA, IG and IH)

There will be no oral presentations during this time.
All authors are requested to display posters on their allocated boards on the morning of their assigned poster day. In order to present their work and answer questions, they are requested to be present in the vicinity of their poster during that day between the assigned time schedule. The schedule of the poster sessions is presented on the respective pages of the advance programme.

Each author is provided with a Rosconi board on which to display her/his poster.
The external size of the board is 120 cm width x 200 cm high.

So that the poster can be easily read, the size of the poster should not exceed 100-105 cm wide x 160 cm high.

Tape to fix the posters will be provided (pins cannot be applied).

Note: A catering counter with drinks and snacks will be built up in the middle of the hall.
